Materials Needed to Implement the
Texas
Scottish Rite Literacy Program
Alabama schools may obtain DVDs with the Literacy Program lessons from the Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation by calling 205-942-2687.
In addition to the DVD-based lessons, students will need the following materials that may be ordered from Educators Publishing Service at 1-800-225-5750. All prices are taken from the EPS 2005 Catalog (page96).

~Let's Read Books
The Let's Read books are non-consumable decodable texts and should be purchased to equip the classroom in which the literacy classes will be conducted throughout the day. As the class size is recommended to be 10 students or less, a total of 10 Let's Read books should be a sufficient quantity. The cost of ten copies of each of the Let's Read books used in the dyslexia program is $930.50 This would be a one time expense as the program is initiated.
